Refund Policy
Last updated: June 2026This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for Proxmint, operated by Proxmint. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. In short: the Service is prepaid and provisioned instantly, so all sales are final except in the limited cases below.
1. Summary — all sales final
Proxmint sells prepaid digital goods — bandwidth packs, wallet top-ups, and pay-as-you-go balances — that are provisioned to your account immediately after payment. Because the product is delivered the moment you pay, all purchases are final and non-refundable. Please buy the smallest pack first if you are unsure whether the Service fits your use case.
2. Why purchases are non-refundable
Bandwidth is a consumable, on-demand digital good. The instant your payment is confirmed we allocate capacity on our upstream network and your credentials go live, so the value is transferred to you at the point of sale and cannot be returned. By completing checkout you request immediate provisioning, consent to immediate performance, and acknowledge that you lose any statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period once provisioning begins.
3. Cryptocurrency payments
Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible by design. Once a payment is confirmed on-chain, it cannot be reversed, refunded, or recalled by us, by you, or by the payment processor — regardless of usage. Choose the amount carefully before paying with crypto.
4. Limited exceptions
We will, at our sole discretion and only to the extent mandatory law requires, consider a credit or refund in two narrow cases:
- Duplicate or erroneous charge — you were billed more than once for the same order, or a verified technical error charged you incorrectly.
- Total non-delivery caused by us — a verified, complete failure to provision the Service that is solely our fault and that we cannot resolve within a reasonable time after you report it.
We do not issue refunds, credits, or exchanges for:
- unused or partially used bandwidth, or a change of mind;
- a Target that blocks, rate-limits, or is incompatible with proxies — success against any specific Target is never guaranteed;
- speeds, success rates, or coverage not matching your expectations;
- accounts suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy;
- purchases where we detect abuse or refund-exploitation patterns (such as multiple accounts).
5. How to request a review
If you believe your purchase falls within a limited exception above, email support@proxmint.com within 7 days of the charge with your account email, the order or transaction ID, and a description of the problem. We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible; crypto purchases cannot be refunded (see section 3).
6. Chargebacks and disputes
Contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly. Filing a card chargeback or payment dispute for a service that has been delivered, instead of contacting us, is a breach of our Terms. On any dispute or reversal we may immediately suspend your account, reverse and reclaim the provisioned bandwidth, remove the corresponding wallet credit, and submit our delivery and consent records to the payment network as evidence.
